1. single-core cable, 2. three single-core cables laid-up, 3. three-core cable.

Construction of 240mm xlpe 3 core power cable:

Conductor(copper or aluminium) - conductor screen of semiconducting compound - insulation of cross-linked polyethylen (XLPE) - screen of semiconducting compound - semiconducting swellable tape - screen of copper tape or copper wires+copper tape - separation tape - ( PVC inner sheath - Steel wire armour or steel tape armour ) - PVC or PE sheath.

*Low smoke Halogen free fire resistant or flame retardant material is available.

 

Conductor:Copper, Aluminum

No. of Core: Single core or three cores

Insulation: XLPE

 

Armour:no armor, Steel wire armour, Aluminum wire armour, Steel tape armour,

Sheath: PVC, PE

The medium voltage 240mm xlpe 3 core power cable with insulation of cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) are designed for transfer and distribution of electrical power with nominal voltage Uo/U 3.6/6 to 26/35 kV and frequency 50 Hz in urban and district electrical networks and for electrical supply of transformer's substations, small and medium industrial plants. They are suitable for use in distribution installations, electric power stations and industrial systems. The cables are for fixed assembly in lines with unlimited difference levels, indoor installations, in cable ducts, conduits and shafts, over shelves and grills directly underground in ditch and outdoor shelter.
